ORIGIN
The Soul
Each with her own personality and both having very distinct paths, it was in the summer of 2015 that they decided to work together. Although it seemed like an unlikely step for them, it was at the suggestion of their husbands, longtime friends, that the challenge was presented during a family gathering.
Though the idea initially seemed crazy to them, by the end of 2016, InVerso was born. Today, the joy and pride in overcoming the challenge shape the way they manage this space, the result of hard work, dedication, and professionalism.
The two managing partners have known each other since their youth, when they both participated in theater in Fontanelas. Years later, as life’s twists and turns would have it, destiny brought them together, and from an almost improbable idea, InVerso Hair Salon was born.
Today, more than just friendship and complicity bind Alexandra and Helena, as they both share the dream of growing InVerso. A space entirely dedicated to beauty, with a young and dynamic team, where the latest techniques are applied, thanks to their constant commitment to training, reflecting the dream, soul, and goals of these two professionals.
The greatest gift that InVerso has brought them is, without a doubt, the opportunity to showcase their art and give wings to their imagination. It has contributed to their increased self-confidence, naturally accompanied by the responsibility of maintaining customer satisfaction through the work done in the salon. A challenge they both embraced, knowing the importance of investing in training to evolve and perfect their skills. Both value the interpersonal relationships they have built over the years in this field and take pleasure in helping others take care of themselves. They know that by enhancing beauty, they can boost the self-esteem of those who walk into InVerso, and that gives them the sense of duty fulfilled. It is, without a doubt, a positive attitude that has resulted in growing success.

Nini
The authenticity and precision of Nini, as she is affectionately called, stand out in the way she performs her work.
For Nini, opening InVerso after 19 years of dedication to the salon where she grew up and learned was a painful decision, but she acknowledges it was, above all, a great achievement.
She began at the age of 12 washing hair to avoid staying home alone, in a salon in Várzea de Sintra, from where she later left to open InVerso. Over time, she developed a passion for the profession and, between 2003 and 2006, she decided to take the course of Assistant, Trainee, and Official Hairstylist at the Center for Professional Art and Beauty Education (CEPAB).
What motivates her in this profession is being able to bring her personal touch and affection for people into her work. Her desire to work with the elderly led her to offer home services. This is Helena’s way of bringing beauty care to those who have difficulty accessing it. Alexandra has no doubt: “She’s a fantastic professional with an amazing personality.”
Helena grew up in Fontanelas until she was 12, returned a couple of times, but moved back permanently at 21. Having InVerso here has been better than she expected: “I never saw a place as positive as this to open a salon.”

Xana
The professionalism of Xana, as she is known here, is always accompanied by a dose of perfectionism and a sweet smile.
Xana believes that everything happens at the right time and that her entire professional journey was essential in encouraging her to open InVerso.
Since she was a child, she was fascinated by the way hairdressers washed clients’ hair, and it was this fascination that determined the course of her professional life. She began at 16 and quickly realized she was on the right path.
Her desire to learn more and do better led her to take the course for Assistant and Trainee Hairstylist. Between 1998 and 2001, she attended the course at Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa and soon after worked in various salons, between Lisbon, Várzea de Sintra, and Janas. Alexandra loves taking care of others, and for Helena, Xana “is a sweet, gentle, thoughtful, and very calm person.”
Originally from Janas, her connection to this land began at 20 when she was invited to sing in the theater of Fontanelas and Gouveia. She lived in Rinchoa, but it was in Gouveia, at the age of 35, that she settled down and now feels at home. It is here, in this village, that she works with even greater motivation: “I couldn’t imagine being a hairstylist anywhere else.”
